Twitter has announced that they have suspended 70 pro-Mike Bloomberg accounts for what the social media company is calling “platform manipulation”.

That manipulation consists of identical messaging being posted across what appear to be multiple different accounts like what we see above.

Los Angeles Times:

“We have taken enforcement action on a group of accounts for violating our rules against platform manipulation and spam,” a Twitter spokesman said. Some of the suspensions will be permanent, while in other cases account owners will have to verify they have control of their accounts.

Bloomberg has spent more on political advertising — including social media advertising — in a day than more people will see in their entire lifetimes. In fact, the Bloomberg campaign has hired a number of what they’re calling “deputy field organizers” who receive $2,500 a month to spread campaign approved pro-Bloomberg BS on their own social media accounts.
