Senate hearings are underway for the confirmation of Donald Trump‘s pick of Brett Kavanaugh to be named to the Supreme Court after the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy earlier this summer.
The hearings are expected to be extremely contentious as senate judiciary democrats will look to grill Kavanaugh on his record as the next justice on the Supreme Court will surely have a big time impact on the many key issues including the woman’s right to choose, marriage equality and affirmative action.
More over there has already been controversy surrounding Kavanaugh’s nomination which includes his position on indicting a sitting president as well as the troves of documents withheld on nominee by the Trump administration.
