There were some truths to growing up in the 90’s. You didn’t start your Saturday’s without a bowl of cereal and cartoons in the morning, the grunge era was maybe one of the more important genres in music history and DOOM 2 was one of the best computer games ever made.
That’s why this past month of August 90’s nostalgia was in full force when gamer Zero Master discovered the final remaining secret in DOOM 2. Previously the only way to accomplish this was by using cheat codes however Zero Master found out that if you lure a Pain Elemental out into an area it’ll eventually push you into the secret location, enabling the gamer to score a perfect 100 percent on Level 15.
The feet was even recognized by DOOM 2 co-creator John Romero on Twitter:
Secret explained: A secret teleporter is marked as a discoverable "secret", but when you touch it, you never enter the sector. So you would never get inside the teleporter sector to trigger the secret. The only way to trigger this secret is to be pushed by an enemy into it! #doom
