As candidates move up the polls and into the spotlight, shit tends to leak out about their record. Take for instance Joe Biden — although not news in the sense that it’s something that is just now being uncovered — has touted his record of being able to work across the aisle with Republicans.

Well, some of those Republicans were segregationists. Probably not a record to tout, especially when you’re trying to maintain the African-American vote and as your campaign continues to spiral out of control.

Then there’s “Mayo Pete” who while Mayor of South Bend oversaw the number of African-American marijuana arrests grow during his time in office, a trend that Buttigieg and his campaign have tried to dodge questions about.

Which brings us to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is rising in the polls after essentially buying his way into the election while being propped up by the DNC.

Tuesday an audio recording of a 2015 speech surfaced in which the former Mayor defended racist and aggressive tactics by NYC police in minority neighborhoods.

In the speech given in front of the Aspen Institute, the billionaire acknowledged that “stop and frisk” targeted minority “kids” whom cops must throw “up against the wall” to disarm.

He continued stating “Ninety-five percent of murders- murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops”. “They are male, minorities, 16-25. That’s true in New York, that’s true in virtually every city (inaudible). And that’s where the real crime is. You’ve got to get the guns out of the hands of people that are getting killed.”

Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein pretty much summed up the “vote blue no matter who” mentality that the DNC can’t get enough of unless the primary winner is Bernie Sanders.

So is this where we’re really at with all of this? Is the DNC going to continue to prop up Bloomberg and stack the deck of moderate, corporate dems despite their past record of being pretty shitty leaders? Yet, democratic socialist like Sanders is going to ruin the fabric of America and is completely unelectable. If that’s what we’re garnering from the DNC then people should be even more enthusiastic that Bernie Sanders and his steady, lifetime record as a true man of all people can and will beat Donald Trump come November.
