With all of the revolution and upheaval happening around the World, one band that really couldn’t stay silent, at least for long is Rage Against the Machine.

Friday that broke that silence…

In a series of social media posts, the band announced five different dates which Forbes confirmed was indeed a reunion tour.

More shows are rumored to be added, however, the April 10 and 17 dates in Indio, California are during Coachella so it’s presumed RATM will be added to the official bill once the show releases its list of performers.

Rage hasn’t played a show together since the LA Rising Festival in 2011 and was sporadic with their live dates prior to that and after Renegades was released in 2000. During that 10-year stretch, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk hooked up with Chris Cornell to form Audioslave. Since then that trio when on to form a supergroup with Chuck D called Prophets of Rage while Zack de la Rocha continued to work on a solo album.
