Donald Trump made history Wednesday for all the wrong reasons becoming the only the third President of the United States to be impeached by the House of Representatives.
Moreover, Trump becomes the first, first-term elected President to be impeached as the House voted in favor of both articles of impeachment, abuse of power and obstruction congress setting up a senate trial for removal from office in January.
Voting was largely divided along party lines with former Republican and now Independent Justin Amash voting in favor of both articles. On that note, GOP members voting for either article while only a few Democrats broke party lines not including Hawaii congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard
