Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide by hanging.
Thats the conclusion at least the New York City Medical Examiner’s office has come to six days after the Financier was found dead in his jail cell as he awaited trial for child sex trafficking.
The official results of an autopsy showed that the financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell, the city’s medical examiner’s office said on Friday, determining that the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
The determination came six days after Mr. Epstein, 66, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, where he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
According to reports, Epstein was found around 6:30 am ET in his jail cell during the morning check having apparently hung himself with a bed sheet tied to his bunk. Eyewitness accounts of the scene reported that Epstein appeared to have knelt forward with enough force to break several bones in his neck which was listed in the autopsy report.
Needless to say these results aren’t going to satisfy the skeptics out there nor should they.
It’s assumed Epstein had a lot of dirt on a lot of high profile people and he circumstances still surrounding his death still don’t add up. Not even close.
Set aside the attention this trial would have gotten let alone the ramifications it would have had with some pretty big names. It was suspected Epstein tried to kill himself back on July 23 when he was found on the floor of his cell with bruises around his neck. As a result, he was put on suicide watch for all of six days before he was ultimately taken off. Ironically enough too, his cellmate was removed and relocated while the guards on duty that night reportedly fell asleep on the job, literally.
