When Donald Trump is issuing out denunciations against white supremacy lacking any genuine approach, he’s outright denying he knows anything about QAnon, the far-right conspiracy that believes the democrats are involved in some satanic pedophile cult where they drink the blood of kids in the basements of D.C. pizza joints.
As you can see from the video above instead of taking on and fully denouncing the nonsensical and outright dangerous conspiracy theory that is QAnon, Trump denied and deflected to Antifa when pressed by Savannah Guthrie as he usually does when he doesn’t want to give a direct answer to a question.
Again, there’s that passion behind the outright hatred he has for the antifascist movement that is Antifa (sorry chuds, its a tactic and a praxis, not a group) but yet Trump only knows that Q is “strongly against pedophilia” and nothing else.
This, of course, the receipts Trump leaves behind, notably on Twitter as he’s either engaged the QAnon conspiracy theory directly by spouting the nonsense in his own words or simply retweeting Q. In fact, this happened the other day when Trump promoted the baseless Q backed conspiracy theory that the Osama bin Laden killing was staged and that Obama had Seal Team Six killed.
And you can go on with this. Back in July Politico released an article that focussed primarily on Trump’s follows and retweets of QAnon supporters…
Politico went on to highlight Trump’s inner circle also promoting the conspiracy theory including White House social media director Dan Scavino who retweeted a photo with the “Q” symbol while congressman and Trump sycophant Devin Nunes directed people to The Dirty Truth, a video producer who has previously promoted QAnon-related conspiracies.
Then there was that bizarre and disturbing video from this past summer of Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn taking the “Q oath” with friends and family…
At some point though, possibly, Donald Trump may “denounce” QAnon if it is personally or politically beneficial to him. Much along the lines of the way he “denounces” white supremacy, which as we know comes in stages (denying, then defecting) and with authenticity behind it.
