The nearly two-year long Russian Probe led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller has concluded according to various outlets.
The report, which was delivered to both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General William Barr just after 4:30 pm est is said to be ‘comprehensive’.
According to Barr in a letter sent to both chambers of congress, the “principle conclusions” of the report could be released as early as “this weekend” while also adding that no action by the Special Counsel “was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices that it should not be pursued.” This probably means that any request by Robert Mueller to interview Donald Trump wasn’t denied.
Speaking of Donald Trump, White House lawyers and senior staff members were waiting for the report to drop while in Mar-a-Lago as Press Secretary Sarah Sanders added that no one within the White House has been briefed on the contents of the report.
Like previously mentioned, the nearly two-year long Russia Investigation led by Mueller was started to investigate possible collusion and obstruction of justice allegations made against Donald Trump, his campaign and actions during his Presidency. Throughout the course of the investigation, nearly 200 charges against 34 people and three Russian companies have been filed. This includes six former Trump advisers and twenty-six are Russian nationals.
In any sense though, the investigations into Donald Trump, his campaign and administration aren’t going to stop with the Mueller Investigation. Currently the House is conducting their own investigation while the Southern District of New York continues to embark on a number investigations into the Trump White House and campaign, some of which were passed along to them by the Mueller them themselves.
