Legendary U.S. metalcore band Converge found themselves fielding angry correspondence from Filipinos this past week.
It wasn’t because of any cancelled show due to COVID-19 or some delay in new material. A Philippine telecommunication service provider called Converge ICT that’s apparently providing some pretty shitty internet service to Filipinos across that country caused the confusion.
I guess the good news is Converge isn’t getting into the telecommunication business and they’ll continue to put out awesome fucking material.
The bad news is shitty internet providers clearly seems to be a global issue and not just one experienced here in the United States.
