Senators Ron Johnson out of Texas and Gary Peters out of Michigan had a contentious back-and-forth Wednesday during a Homeland Security and Government Affairs committee meeting.

Essentially the two traded shots over Russian meddling from the 2016 election and voter from this past election, both of which are utter fucking nonsense.

Not that Russian meddling didn’t take place in 2016.

I’m sure it did.

But for Democrats to make like foreign influence in an election just came to fruition in 2016 or implying that the United States government hasn’t itself taken part in election interference themselves is laughable.

On the other hand, Republicans continually pushing the narrative of election fraud in 2020 without providing any inkling of evidence as case after case gets thrown out — some by Trump-appointed judges tells you everything you need to know about this so-called “Kraken”.
