A van striking people on London Bridge is one of two incidents in the city of London tonight UPDATING

Police in London are investigating two incidents within that city one of which happened on London Bridge.

According to reports, a van starting striking pedestrians along the bridge around 10:30 pm local time leaving bodies in its wake.

Via CNN.com:

Mark Roberts, the witness on the bridge, said the van was traveling south across the River Thames at a high rate of speed and was swerving as it struck several people, knocking one person “about 20 feet into the air.”
The van swerved into oncoming lanes before hitting a bus stop and coming to a stop, Roberts said.
“Within my line of sight, there were five or six people on the ground that were not moving,” he said. “It looked to me that the van was aiming at the people.”
In addition to this, there was also reported stabbings at a restaurant in the Borough Market which is just south of the Bridge. According to witnesses there, a man took out a “massive knife” and stabbed two people. Shots have been fired at the location however it’s unclear if those shots came from authorities or the perpetrators.
Police are also responding to an incident in the Vaux Hall area however details on that are not totally clear at this point.

UPDATE: According to Yahoo News, two people have been killed thus far on London Bridge.

UPDATE: Six individuals have been confirmed dead in the London terror attacks. Three assailants are also dead after being shot by police. Meanwhile 33 have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The individuals involved in the London Bridge attack were connected with the Borough Market attack where two individuals were stabbed including a waitress who was wounded in the neck.
The Vaux Hall incident isn’t considered connect with the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks according to authorities.
