Beverly Young-Nelson is the latest woman to come forward accusing Judge Roy Moore, a candidate for the vacant Alabama senate seat of sexually assaulting her when she was a minor.

Reading a statement with her lawyer Gloria Allred at her side, Young-Nelson is claiming Moore offered to drive her home after working at her job as a waitress back in the late 1970’s. However instead of driving her home, the then district attorney Moore drove around back of the restaurant and proceeded to sexually assault her.

Young-Nelson further makes the claim that her accusations have nothing to do with politics and states that she and her husband voted for Donald Trump during the last presidential election. Additionally, Young-Nelson felt compelled to come forward now after the “bravery” of the other women who have also spoke up about their encounters with Moore when they were teenagers.
