Roger Stone

Roger Stone, a former Trump campaign advisor has come out and admitted to what he calls ‘innocuous’ conversations with Guccifer 2.0 during the presidential election.

But who’s Guccifer 2.0 you say?

Oh, only the hacker who U.S. intelligence believes is the one the perpetrators responsible for hacking the Democratic National Committee. Via the Washington Times:

“It was so perfunctory, brief and banal I had forgotten it,” the political consultant told The Times on Friday with respect to a private Twitter exchange he had with “Guccifer 2.0,” a pseudonymous entity explicitly tied to the DNC hack.

Guccifer 2.0 appeared last summer shortly after it was revealed that the DNC’s computer network had been breached by hackers. The self-described Romanian hacktivist claimed in a June 15 blog post that he had compromised the DNC — not Russian hackers, as experts had indicated — and said he had supplied WikiLeaks with a trove of documents ultimately published by the antisecrecy website the following month.

But don’t worry everyone, this Romanian hacker says himself that he alone hacked into the DNC and no one else. Also the Trump and administration has had zero to do with Russia or their suspected meddling in the U.S. presidential election. It’s also totally believable that Stone was just innocently engaging in small talk with Guccifer 2.0, you know just asking him to do him a solid and retweet some of his (Stone’s) articles.
