With the “Black Panther” movie hitting screens, movie goers are lining up to view the highly anticipated Marvel movie starring Chadwick Boseman who plays the Black Panther/T’Challa, king of the fictional country Wakanda. Upon returning home, the Black Panther/T’Challa has his sovereignty challenged by his long-time adversary.

Unfortunately however, in addition to excited moviegoers rushing to theaters to catch Marvel/Disney‘s latest super hero flick, racially motivated Twitter trolls are also assembling to attack and make false claims against the movie.

BuzzFeed’s Craig Silverman has highlighted some of these fake claims of assault on Twitter which mainly display women (mostly white) who are victims of some unrelated physical attack.

For instance, the first picture displays a 19-year-old Swedish women who was assaulted at a bar in January.

Next up is another fake claim of a white woman attacked at Black Panther premier, except the the picture shown was actually of a girlfriend who was locked in an apartment for four hours and assaulted by her boyfriend.

The claims though have even got as obvious and pathetic that the Trolls are using high profile news stories to try and push their bullshit. Below is another claim of a woman being attacked at a Black Panther premier however the picture shown is actually that of former White House advisor Rob Porter‘s ex-wife who was an alleged domestic violence vicim of the former Trump staffer. Porter ended up resigning this month over the accusations.

But the trolling isn’t just a one-side ordeal by seemingly those on the alt-right. Some trolls are also making false claims that individuals in MAGA hats were attacking movie patrons which of course isn’t true as well.

Anyways, if you’d like to see more of the absurdity on the part of the trolls, head over to BuzzFeed’s original article.
