Donald Trump continued his assault on the news media this morning, however this time with much more ire than in past confrontations.
During a press conference to announce the total money donated to veterans groups the presumptive GOP nominee took aim at ABC News reporter Tom Llamas calling him ‘sleazy’.

First off, the total number raised for various veterans groups was $5.6 million when Trump decided not to attend a FOX News debate a few months ago in lieu of a fundraising event. However since that time, the Trump campaign up until now didn’t release those numbers which prompted the press over that time to ask the simple of questions of how much money was raised and if there wasn’t a number prepared to announce when would they be announced?
These aren’t hard questions, in fact by not releasing them (until now), contradicting your campaign manager and just not addressing the situation in a proper manner Trump has wholeheartedly created this himself.
Yet for a guy like Donald Trump who continues his all out assault on the press should really be thanking them considering the coverage (good or bad) he’s gotten from them throughout his campaign.
Nonetheless, Trump continues to be one of the most sensitive candidates in U.S. Presidential campaign history.
